Decide what you will not post

Not everything I record deserves to go out. Some clips are fine but forgettable, some make a point that is not actually clear, and some just do not hold up on a second watch. I have a short filter I run every piece through before it goes out, and if it does not pass, I let it sit unpublished rather than posting out of pure obligation.

This matters because publishing something weak trains your audience to expect less, and it clutters your own feed with material that does not represent your best work. A pile of unfinished, unclear posts is worse for you than posting less often but only when something actually earns the spot.

Try this today: before your next post goes out, ask yourself plainly whether it would make someone stop scrolling or whether it is just filling a schedule. If it is filling a schedule, hold it back and either fix it or leave it in the archive. Protect your feed the way you would protect your reputation.
