Don't skip the setup step it explains
When Claude Code walks through a setup step, like connecting an account or naming a folder, I don't skip past it just to get to the fun part faster. The setup is usually where the whole tool depends on getting one detail right.
Owners in a hurry tend to click through setup instructions the same way they click through terms and conditions, and that's exactly where small mistakes hide, waiting to cause a confusing failure later. Reading the setup step slowly, once, costs a couple of minutes. Untangling a mystery bug caused by a skipped setup step can cost an entire afternoon.
Try this today: on your next build, read the full setup instructions out loud before typing anything, and confirm each detail matches your actual accounts and folders.
