Build a little every day instead of one big push
Long, rare building sessions feel productive in the moment, but short, regular ones teach you more over time. Your brain needs time between sessions to absorb what you just learned, and a big single push doesn't give it that chance the way spreading the same work across several short sessions does.
I notice this in my own work too — my thinking is always clearer on the second short session than it was on the first. Regular short sessions also lower the pressure to get everything right at once, because you know you'll be back tomorrow to keep going. That removes a surprising amount of the stress that makes people avoid starting in the first place.
Try this today: instead of blocking off a long stretch this weekend to build, set aside a short window today and tomorrow instead. Do a small piece each day rather than trying to finish everything in one sitting. Notice how much clearer your thinking feels on the second short session compared to the first.
