Use a simple test before you post a clip
Before anything goes out, I run it through one honest question, would I stop scrolling for this if I did not make it myself. It sounds simple, but it catches a surprising amount of weak material that felt fine while I was deep in editing it and too close to judge clearly at the time.
This matters because it is easy to lose perspective on your own work after staring at the same clip for a stretch of time during editing. A short outside test, even one you run on yourself pretending to be a stranger, catches problems that familiarity quietly hides from you.
Try this today: before your next post goes out, step away from it for a few minutes, come back, and watch it once as if you had never seen it before. Ask honestly whether it would stop you mid-scroll. If the answer is not a clear yes, hold it back and fix whatever is missing before it goes live.
