A welcome packet should answer questions early

Most of the questions new clients send in their first week have the same answers every single time. What do I need to prepare. When will I hear from you. What happens if something changes along the way. A well-built welcome packet answers all of this up front, before anyone has to ask.

Building this packet once saves you from writing the same explanations over and over for every new person. It also gives new clients something concrete to hold onto during the uncertain early days, instead of relying entirely on memory of a conversation they had once and half remember.

Keep it short enough that people will actually read it. A long packet that nobody opens is no better than having nothing written down at all in the first place.

Try this today: list the questions your last several new clients asked in their first week, and turn the answers into one short welcome packet.
