Turn today's recording into today's written post

I do not let a recording sit for days before I do anything with it. The same day I record, I pull at least one short written post out of it, usually built straight from the transcript, while the point is still fresh in my head and easy to explain in a couple of sentences. Waiting even a few days makes the same task feel harder for no good reason.

This matters because momentum fades fast once you step away from the material. A recording you made this morning is easy to turn into a caption or post right now, but the same task later means re-listening, re-remembering, and re-deciding what mattered. Same-day repurposing is simply less work overall, not more discipline.

Try this today: after your next recording, before you close the laptop, pull one short written post from it. Do not wait for a better time or a cleaner headspace. Treat it as the last step of recording, not a separate task for later.
