Approval does not mean review everything forever

An approval step doesn't have to last forever. It's common to review every single output from a new workflow closely for the first few weeks, then quietly shift to only reviewing the ones that look unusual once you trust the pattern.

Treating approval as permanent, unchanging forever, often kills the whole point of building the workflow in the first place — you've automated the busywork but kept every bit of the manual review on top of it. My own habit is to review closely at the start, note what a normal result looks like, and then narrow my review down to exceptions once the workflow has proven itself over real use. This keeps the safety net without keeping the full workload.

Revisit your approval habits every so often instead of locking them in on day one and forgetting to reconsider them.
