AI can find your best lines in raw footage

Some tools can scan a long recording and flag the moments that sound like strong, quotable lines, based on pacing, energy, or how a sentence is structured. For anyone sitting on hours of raw interviews or podcast footage, this turns a dreaded scrubbing session into a shortlist you can review in minutes. It will not catch every gem, but it usually catches enough to be worth the time.

The best use for this is repurposing. Instead of watching an entire recording again to find a clip worth posting, you start from a handful of flagged moments and pick the ones that actually fit your voice. I keep a loose mental note of which flagged lines actually get used, and it's rarely the ones with the most energy.

Try this today: feed your last long recording into a highlight-finding tool and treat the results as a shortlist, not a final answer. Watch the flagged moments yourself and pick the ones that sound like you, not just the ones that sound busy.
