A short checklist for reviewing any AI cut

Any time an AI tool hands you a rough cut, captions, or a color pass, running through the same short checklist before you accept it catches most of the mistakes worth catching. Watching the whole thing once, checking for accuracy in captions, and confirming the pacing still feels like you covers the most common failure points across different tools.

Having a fixed checklist also makes the review faster over time, since you stop second-guessing every decision and start scanning for the same handful of known issues each time. I keep the same short list for every project, and I don't add to it just because a new tool comes along. That consistency matters more than any single tool you choose.
