Sort finished clips from leftovers as you go

After I cut a batch of clips from a recording, I sort them right away into two piles, finished and ready to post, or leftover and worth saving for later use. Without that sort, everything sits in one messy folder and I lose track of what is actually done versus what still needs work. The sort takes a minute and saves a lot of confusion down the line.

This matters because a folder full of mixed finished and unfinished material is genuinely hard to work from later. You end up re-checking clips you already finished, or worse, forgetting about good leftovers because they look the same as everything else in the pile.

Try this today: go through your current folder of clips and sort them into two clearly labeled groups, ready and leftover. Do this sort every single time you finish editing from now on, right at the end of the session, before you close the project.
