Turn the questions people ask into content

Every question someone asks me in comments, messages, or in person is a content idea handed to me for free. I keep a running list of these questions and turn them into posts one at a time, because if one person asked, plenty of others were probably wondering the same thing and simply never said anything out loud.

This matters because coming up with ideas from nothing is hard, but answering a question you already heard is easy, since you already know exactly what someone wants to know. It also guarantees the content is actually useful to somebody, instead of guessing at what people care about.

Try this today: go back through your last stretch of comments or messages and pull out every genuine question you were asked. Pick the one you can answer most clearly and turn it into a short piece of content today. Keep that list going so you never run out of things worth explaining.
