Keep a running list of everything you've built
It's easy to forget how far you've come when you're deep in the middle of learning something new. A simple running list of every small thing you've built, even the tiny ones, fixes that. Looking back at it reminds you that you've already solved harder problems than the one currently frustrating you.
I keep my own version of this list, and I check it whenever I feel stuck on something new. That list also becomes your idea bank. When you're ready for a new project and can't think of one, scroll through what you've already built and look for the next small step up from there instead of starting from a blank page.
Try this today: open a blank note and write down every small tool, script, or fix you've built so far, even ones that felt too small to count. Keep adding to it going forward. The next time you feel stuck or discouraged, that list will remind you exactly how much you've already learned.
