A private place to think out loud with AI

Some of the most useful AI conversations are the ones nobody else should ever read, working through a hard decision, venting about a rough day, or thinking out loud about where your business is headed. Typing that into a cloud tool means it now lives on someone else's server, even if nothing bad ever comes of it.

A local model gives you a place to have that same kind of conversation without the nagging thought in the back of your mind about where the words are going. It is not about hiding anything shady. It is about keeping your unfinished thinking exactly where it belongs, with you. I've used a local model this way myself, working through a decision that wasn't ready for anyone else to see, cloud tool included.

This use case alone is worth setting up a local model for, even if you rarely need it for client work.

Try this today: use a local model the next time you want to think through a personal or business decision out loud, instead of typing it into a cloud tool.
