Make the weekly review a real appointment

A weekly review is a set block of time where you step back and look at the whole business instead of reacting to whatever showed up in your inbox. Without it, you spend every week putting out fires and never notice the same fire keeps starting in the same spot.

Busy owners skip this first because it feels like it can wait. It cannot. The calm ones protect an hour each week to ask what worked, what broke, and what needs to change before next week starts. Skip it and you stay one step behind your own company, always reacting instead of steering. I protect that hour on my own calendar the same way, and the weeks I skip it are always the weeks I feel most behind by Friday.

Try this today: put a recurring hour on your calendar, same day and time each week, and treat it like a meeting with your most important client. Use it to look back honestly before you plan the week ahead.
