Sort your tasks by who else could do them
I run every task on my list through one question: does this actually need me, or could someone else do it just as well. Most owners never ask this out loud, so the list of things routing through them keeps growing until every approval and every small fix waits on one person. That person becomes the ceiling on how fast the whole business can move.
The fix is not a big reorg. It is a habit of sorting your own list, honestly, into two piles: things only you can do because of judgment or a relationship, and things you do out of habit or fear of letting go.
Try this today: take your task list and mark each item "only me" or "someone else could." Pick the easiest item in the second pile and hand it off before the day ends.
